About Ukrainian Amateur Radio League
History
Ukrainian Amateur Radio League (UARL) was founded on December 21st, 1991 at the foundation conference where the main principals of the organization were established. September 3rd, 1992 UARL was officially acknowledged by Ministry of Justice.
UARL is the national association for amateur radio in the Ukraine. UARL is a noncommercial organization of radio amateurs. UARL numbers within its ranks the vast majority of active radio amateurs in the Ukraine.
The UARL is a member-society of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU).

Operating from Ukraine by visitors
License
Foreign visitor must hold a HAREC, NOVICE certificate or a CEPT license to be able to operate from Ukraine during a short-term visit (less than three months). Just add prefix UT before your callsign (UT/your home call). For a longer stay fees may apply.
